Sales Compensation Strategy Intern - Analytics

Internship Summary:
Data Science Interns will produce insightful analytic data models and visualizations depicting Zoetis Business Unit / SalesForce performance, Optimization opportunities and proactive direction for our Sales Organization). Candidates must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, have the ability to work with limited supervision and must be comfortable in an environment of changing priorities. The intern will be exposed to a variety of data types such as unstructured survey data, sales transactions, and sales performance target V achievement data and e expected to use Machine Learning and analytical techniques to offer up suggestions for leadership on how to drive sales and deeper product penetration across the US
Internship Job Duties:
- Develop new Dashboards and Self-Serve capabilities that proactively enable the Field Force, positioning data to leaders for Sales optimization and Performance Management
- Perform machine learning, natural languages, such as classification, collaborative filtering, association rules, sentiment analysis, and topic modeling
Internship Qualifications:
- Proficiency in analysis – “R”packages, programming languages (Python)
- Strong knowledge in the following fields: machine learning, data visualization, statistical modeling, data mining and information retrieval
- Strong analytical mind and an in-depth understanding of key business drivers
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enrolled in a degree program during the Spring term preceding internship
- Completion of at least one year of undergraduate studies and a 3.0 GPA or higher
- At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Successfully pass a background check and drug screen
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem solving & analytical skills
