Applied Research Associates, Inc. is seeking Engineering and Analysis Support Interns to support the IMEA and VAPO projects on site in Raleigh, NC. Our staff of recognized experts uses state-of-the-art software to integrate accredited engineering models that provide complete, comprehensive answers for many diverse weaponeering and vulnerability assessment (and protection) problems. We have expertise and provide engineering solutions in areas such as weapon penetration, cratering, blast effects, fragmentation, structural damage, human injury, weapons of mass destruction (WMD) agent release and dispersion, etc.

In addition, our professional software development team has designed and produced software systems ranging from integrated multi-disciplinary design and optimization systems to 3D interactive design/analysis systems, weapons effects and operational mission planning systems, electronic technical manuals, cyber security applications, multimedia database management systems, and technical hypertext systems. We develop software using the latest hardware and software technologies including C++, C#, Java, Python, CORBA, .Net, and XML.
