Publishing Process Summer Intern

Summer Internship program -Publishing Process, (Contracts,Strategy,
Hoboken 10 weeks full time from 8th June 2020 until 14th August 2020 
We’re looking for a diverse group of highly talented recent graduates and final year students to apply for our paid 10-week Summer Internship. 
 There is a lot of variety when it comes to roles that support our Publishing process so these projects would suit candidates who are interested in the Publishing process, content creation, project managements technology, strategy and analytics.
Successful candidates will work on a project-based assignment within one of our Business area’s s for the duration of the internship. 
Each Intern will be assigned a project to complete during the 10 weeks. Examples of projects include:
Enabling Technology Intern:
1.) Learn about content creation processes and the technologies that support them
2.) Shadow Content Management and Technology employees to learn how these roles contribute to product creation
3.) Analyze and document Content Management business scenarios that need a technology-driven solution
4.) Research content standards, and investigate their business value
5.) Liaise with a technology team in the process of defining and executing a sprint of development 
Contracts Intern:
This intern will be helping our Department implement a new software to manage our contracts, will also help analyze data in order to provide structure and improve our workflows, preparing training materials for the Sales team.
Ideal candidate will be studying law or have experience of contracts
Production Assistant
Proofreading and updating departmental documents used by global Research Content Transformation colleagues; organizational management of document files on global SharePoint site. Adding meta data to documents on SharePoint to make them discoverable via search on SharePoint. Tracking and disseminating updates to global colleagues regarding latest updates.
Strategy Intern
  • Supporting Strategic planning
  • Strategic option definition and evaluation
  • Perform Market Analysis
  • Perform Competitive Analysis
The ideal candidate will be studying a Business or Economics subject or Major.
Rights & Licencing Intern:
  •  Gathering information for Wiley products for completing catalog for rights sales team to present to international customers during the Frankfurt Book Fair in Oct.
  • Direct contact with rights customers on various topics
  • Following up on completion and expiration of contracts
  • Help track and maintain fully executed contracts using rights database,  Compliance with royalty reporting and payment
  • Help identify book titles available for
 The ideal candidate will be studying a Business Law or Economics subject or Major with immaculate attention to detail.
Our ten-week summer internship runs from 8th June 2020 until 14th August 2020 
Criteria: 
The ideal candidates would be a curious problem-solver, eager to learn, and ready to pitch in wherever needed.
  • Graduating between May 2020 and January 2021 
  • Currently be pursuing a BA or/MS/MA in a relevant subject
  • Be authorized to live and work full time in the US unrestricted after graduation. 
  • Must be able to work 40 hours week throughout the course of the 10-week summer internship in Hoboken
