Part-Time Desktop Support Specialist - 20hrs/wks - days


We are seeking a Part-Time Desktop Support Specialist to join our dynamic Information Services Team. Hours are 10am - 2pm M-F. This is a part-time position, hours may be able to flex slightly around class schedule.  We would like this role to continue through the summer and into the fall semester. As a successful Desktop Support Specialist at Baird Holm you will be customer service focused, a resourceful problem solver that thrives in a fast-paced environment full of people with "get the job done" attitudes, have the ability to think critically and analytically, be able to move conflict situations to resolution and have great verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
  • Answer calls/emails for help desk issues
  • Use internal ticketing system for help desk issues tracking
  • Assist with validating and updating support documentation
  • Assist with setup for webinars, go-to meetings, Skype/Facetime meetings, etc.
  • Assist with managing computer inventory
  • Recommend process improvements for support services
  • Other duties as assigned

If you have, or are currently pursuing, a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or the equivalent, we are looking for you! Becoming a part of the Baird Holm team is an exciting opportunity to expand your knowledge of a working IT system in a professional office setting. This is a part-time position; approx. 20hrs per week, ideally 10am - 2pm M-F, but hours may be able to flex slightly around class schedule.
